Warranty

Product Warranty + Support

We stand behind the products we make

Uncaged Ergonomics products are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use. Warranty length varies by product, so the warranty stated on the applicable product page or written sales documentation at the time of purchase is the warranty period that applies to your product.

Important: there is no single warranty period for every Uncaged Ergonomics product. Please check the product page for the exact term that applies to your item.

Typical coverage periods

Warranty terms vary by product

5-Year Limited Warranty

Rise Up standing desks

Current Rise Up electric standing desk models are backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

5-Year Frame / 2-Year Electrical

Office Pods

Office Pods carry separate coverage periods for the structural frame and electrical components.

1-Year Limited Warranty

Many accessories + workspace products

Many keyboard trays, active-seating products, monitor accessories, power products, mats, and stands carry a 1-year limited warranty.

If there is a conflict: the warranty stated on the product page or written sales documentation for your specific product controls.

What the limited warranty covers

Defects in materials or workmanship during normal use

Covered defects

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Covered components that fail during normal, intended use within the applicable warranty period.
  • Warranty issues confirmed by Uncaged Ergonomics after reviewing the claim information.

Available warranty remedies

  • Repair the affected product or component.
  • Provide a new or functionally equivalent replacement part.
  • Replace the product with a new or functionally equivalent product.
  • Refund the purchase price when Uncaged Ergonomics determines that refund is the appropriate remedy.

Uncaged Ergonomics determines the appropriate warranty remedy based on the product, defect, available replacement parts, and circumstances of the claim.

What is not covered

A warranty covers product defects - not every type of damage

Typical exclusions

  • Normal wear and tear from ordinary use.
  • Cosmetic damage that occurs after delivery, including scratches, dents, stains, or finish damage.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, impact, neglect, or use outside the product's intended purpose.
  • Damage caused by improper assembly, installation, maintenance, storage, or failure to follow product instructions.
  • Unauthorized modifications, repairs, disassembly, or alterations.

Other non-covered conditions

  • Damage caused by incompatible third-party parts, accessories, or mounting methods.
  • Electrical damage caused by improper voltage, improper connection, liquid exposure, or conditions outside the product's rated use.
  • Lost or stolen products.
  • Consumable components unless the failure is caused by a covered manufacturing defect.
  • Freight or shipping damage, which is handled separately from a product warranty claim.

Replacement parts + repaired products

We may solve the problem without replacing the entire product

When practical, Uncaged Ergonomics may provide a user-installable replacement part rather than replacing the full product. Replacement parts may be new or functionally equivalent to new in performance and reliability.

A replacement product or replacement part assumes the remaining warranty period of the original product or 30 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides the longer period of coverage.

Warranty vs. returns

These are two different policies

Policy Purpose When it applies
Limited Warranty Addresses covered defects in materials or workmanship. During the warranty period stated for the specific product.
Return Policy Allows eligible products to be returned under the separate return terms. Current standard return window is 30 days from delivery, subject to the Shipping & Returns policy.

Frequently asked questions

Warranty questions

How do I know how long my product is covered?

Check the warranty term on the product page or written sales documentation for the product you purchased. Warranty length varies by product.

Do I need proof of purchase?

Proof of purchase helps us confirm the product, purchase date, and applicable warranty period. Please include your order number, receipt, or other purchase documentation when available.

Will you always replace the entire product?

No. Many issues can be resolved with troubleshooting or a replacement component. Uncaged Ergonomics determines the appropriate warranty remedy based on the product and confirmed defect.

Are cosmetic scratches or dents covered?

Cosmetic damage that occurs after delivery is generally not a covered manufacturing defect. If a product arrives damaged, contact us promptly so the shipping issue can be reviewed separately.

Are Scratch & Dent products covered?

Scratch & Dent products receive the applicable standard product warranty for functional defects. Cosmetic blemishes or damaged packaging disclosed as part of the Scratch & Dent condition are not warranty defects.

Does the warranty replace the return policy?

No. Warranty coverage and returns are separate. Warranty coverage addresses covered defects; returns are governed by the current Shipping & Returns policy.
