This is my second unit. I recently had on leg snap at the platform and I missed using it terribly when waiting for the replacement to show up. I can adjust it so it is above my legs and I get no heat from the gaming laptop.

This laptop stand is a help for my neck strain. I bought this stand as an intervention for my head tilt while using my laptop. It has helped me to keep my head more in line with my spine. It has reduced the pain in my neck and, hopefully, will give me better posture at the computer and when I am away from it. The packaging was good and the adjustments are relatively easy to make. One thing to be aware of depending on how you configure the position of the platform, if you place it across your legs and need to put it aside to get up, tip the laptop screen downward the keyboard or it will fall over backwards.

I purchased this product a couple years ago and was admittedly rough with it. So when it broke in an irreparable way a couple weeks ago, I had nobody to fault but myself, but knew I needed a replacement because I LOVED having it and it was fantastic. Lo and behold, when I got my new one, 3 main improvements that have made it even better than before: rubber along the front edge where my arms/wrists rest, more length so I can fit my phone or other notes off to the side, and breathing holes for my laptop to rest on! Such. A. Fan. Of. Uncaged!!
